Effective September 10, 2026

PigGrid is herd-management software for commercial pig farming operations, provided by Cornish Technologies LLC. Accounts are provisioned for a customer's staff — there is no public sign-up. This policy covers the PigGrid website and the PigGrid mobile app.

We use no advertising or tracking SDKs, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal data.

What we collect, and why

Everything below is used only to operate the service. Nothing is used for advertising, and nothing is sold.

We do not collect location data. We run no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, so we do not build a picture of how you use the app.

Customer farm data

Each customer's farm records are held in a database dedicated to that customer. They are never combined with another customer's data and are never used for any purpose other than operating the service for that customer.

If you use PigGrid at work, your employer is the owner of those records, decides who at the company may see them, and is the party to ask about their handling.

Who else receives data

PigGrid runs on a small set of infrastructure providers. Each processes data only to operate the service, under contract, and none is permitted to use it for their own purposes:

We otherwise disclose data only where the law requires it, or to protect the safety or rights of a person or of the service.

How long we keep it

Your sign-in identity and personal details are kept for as long as your account is active. Farm records are kept for as long as your employer holds an account with us, because they are that company's business records.

When a customer's contract ends, their data is deleted within 90 days of the end of the contract, except where we are required to keep something longer by law.

Deleting your account, and withdrawing consent

You can delete your account in the mobile app under Settings → Delete My Account, or by emailing support@piggrid.com from your account's email address. Deletion removes your sign-in identity and personal details. Operational farm records you recorded (deaths, loads, settlements) are your employer's business records and are retained with your identity removed.

You can withdraw a specific permission at any time without deleting your account: turn off notifications, the camera or photo access for PigGrid in your device's Settings. The rest of the app keeps working. To ask us for a copy of your personal data, or to have it corrected, email privacy@piggrid.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

PigGrid is a workplace tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and tell account holders by email where the change is a significant one.
